Medical Billing Associate
We are seeking a full time medical billing and coding associate for our busy, four location Internal Medicine practice. Our main office, where the billing department is located in Palm Harbor, Florida. Our billing associates are responsible for the creation and submission of daily claims, follow up of aging claims, rectifying denied claims, posting patient and insurance payments, patient account reconciliation, generating statements, collecting outstanding balances, record maintenance, insurance contracting maintenance, CAQH updates for our physicians, credentialing/re-credentialing existing or new providers among other general office duties.
Applicants should have solid experience with the following:
o Medical Billing and Coding
o Medicare/Medicade/HMO
o ICD-9/ ICD-10
o CPT
o AR
o Patient account reconciliation
o Organizational, interpersonal, telephone, documentation, and communication skills
o Attention to details
o Exceptional patient care demeanor
We are a busy and growing practice. The right candidate should be a dynamic self starter, able to work well in a team environment, under direct supervision, or independently.
Experience with EclinicalWorks a plus
