Candidate will gain in depth knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry, as well as prepare for a brokerage role within the company. In this role, trainees will learn how to service shippers and carriers by providing price quotes, scheduling pickup and delivery and managing customer accounts. Trainees who develop these skills will be transitioned into the role of Inside Sales Representative.Assist customers by phone with freight shipping orders.
Provide ongoing communication to customers regarding their shipments in progress.
Educate customers about the freight shipping process and about our products and services.
Interpersonal skills and ability to establish relationships with customers will be used.
Phone and email etiquette skills will be used.
Problem solving abilities and ability to multi task will be used.
Must have the following in order to apply:High School Diploma/GED.
No minimum experience required.
Must follow written and verbal instructions and correspond in English.
Communication and Customer Service skills necessary.
Must be available to work a flexible day or night shift schedule.
Required Screenings: Criminal background checks.
Day & Hours: Rotating shift. Work schedule to be determined. 40 hours per week.
Pay: $9.00 p/hr. Hourly wage
monthly bonuses.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
