Barista Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks - Take customer orders and accurately input them into the cash register - Operate espresso machines and other coffee-making equipment - Prepare food items such as sandwiches, pastries, and baked goods - Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking supplies as needed - Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or concerns - Handle cash transactions and ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed Skills:
- Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating change - Knowledge of retail math for pricing and inventory management - Ability to operate a cash register and handle cash transactions - Strong attention to detail for accurately preparing beverages and food items - Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for customers - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining efficiency and quality - Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations in the food industry - Experience in food service or the retail industry is preferred but not required We offer competitive pay rates, flexible scheduling options, and opportunities for growth within our company.
