1K a year 12 hours ago 12 hours ago 12 hours ago POSITION OBJECTIVE In a prompt, efficient, and professional manner, provides a convenient method for members and guests to obtain food and beverage items while out on the course.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Ensures the Resort's members' and guests' satisfaction in the areas of event services and requests.
Promotes the Resort through excellent service, appearance and attitude.
Confirms beverage cart is fully operational before starting rounds on the course.
Stocks and cleans beverage cart throughout the day.
Maintains and exhibits knowledge of proper golf course etiquette.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by management.
Ensures members, guests, and groups are attended to in a prompt, efficient and personalized manner.
Serves food and beverage items to members, guests, and groups while on the course.
Accountable for all transactions that may be, at times, high volume.
Utilization of point of sale (POS) system and creates daily sales reports.
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function being solely determined by the manager based upon the particular requirements of the hotel:
Maintains flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the department manager.
Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
Attends staff meetings and trainings.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
REQUIREMENTS Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Knowledge of golf standards.
Knowledge of appropriate food and beverage items.
May be required to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to sit and drive a golf cart for up to 8 hours per day.
Walking and standing are frequently required.
Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task.
Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning and filing tasks.
Must be able to exert well-paced ability in limited space.
Must be able to lift, pull or push 20lbs on a regular basis and up to 50lbs occasionally Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.
Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.
Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
CERTIFICATES/LICENSES Valid Driver's License, Sanitation Training and Alcohol Awareness Training.
WORK ENVIRONMENT Must be able to work effectively in a stressful environment, communicate with others, effectively deal with customers and accept constructive criticism from supervisors.
Must be able to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
