Summary:
The Customer Experience Representative is responsible for answering patient and clinic communication.
They triage calls to the Pharmacy and accounting staff.
The Customer Service Representative demonstrates a commitment to the mission and goals of APS Pharmacy.

This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Elements of the Job:
Demonstrates a working knowledge of all pharmacy rules and regulations Follows all policies and procedures set forth by Company Communicates to doctors and patients in a professional and courteous manner Updates LifeFile with new clinics or prescribers Processes refill authorizations from a practitioner Obtains missing information from a practitioner needed to complete an order Ensures that patient's allergies, therapies, and current medication are updated regularly in the patient profile history Assists pharmacists in clarifying orders Outbound calls to patient pay patients regarding new prescriptions/refills and payment Handles carrier shipping returns to the pharmacy Contacts shipping carriers on behalf of client's delivery concerns Cleans and helps maintain equipment and work areas Maintains compliance with Company and HIPAA patient confidentiality requirements Performs other duties as assigned Essential Skills and
Experience:
Registration with the Florida DOH as a licensed technician is required upon hire Retail pharmacy experience preferred Strong listening skills and attention to detail Good math skills are essential Ability to work as part of a team and adapt in a fast-paced environment Typical Working Conditions:
Pharmacy Technicians will work in a sitting position for prolonged periods of time Must be able to use necessary equipment such as computers, scanners, or other technology devices as assigned Location:
This position begins in Palm Harbor and will transition to Odessa mid June 2024 Note:
