Are you looking for an outlet for your passion for animals through invention and compassion? Are you looking for a place to call your secondary home where your clients are more like family, and your patients are your best friends that you get to party with on shift? Would you like to dabble into veterinary medicine by taking care of a full-service veterinary hospital's boarding patients and learn alongside a multi-faceted clinical team? Do you care about others' animals as if they were your own pride and joy? If any of these apply to you, you should come meet our team here at Country Oaks Animal Hospital and Steele Pain Management and Rehabilitation Center for Animals! We are seeking to add to our kennel attendant roster for the upcoming boarding season! A little bit about us! We have been a full-service, small animal hospital and boarding kennel located just outside of historic downtown Palm Harbor for over 30
years.
We strive to provide state-of-the-art technology and progressive medicine, while also providing the familial caring touch that we would want for our own animals while outside of our own care.
Our boarding facility offers spacious indoor kennels with air-conditioning, along with multiple play yards for one-on-one time with their favorite team members.
We also host an array of pampered pet packages to spoil our clients' pets thoroughly such as deluxe suits and bedding, enrichment toys and games, and homemade treats and cooked dinners! With our state-of-the-art technology in our hospital, and our revolutionary rehabilitation gym, we are the only veterinary practice in Pinellas County to provide such a vast array of modalities under one roof to our clients and patients.
Aside from our pain management and rehabilitation certifications, we are also a Fear-Free certified practice, and certified as a Feline Friendly Practice, for over ten years.
While employed here you will learn how to obtain mutual respect and understanding with all of the furry and non-furry friends who walk through our doors.
Ideal candidates should possess excellent communication skills, be compassionate and enthusiastic with a positive attitude and the ability to maintain composure in a busy work environment and demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills.
We desire a self-starter with the ability to work without direct supervision while being responsible and reliable with superior attention to detail.
The position can vary from 25 to 40 hours per week depending on the season and includes working weekends & holidays, so our ideal candidate would need reliable transportation and a flexible schedule.
