Job Description:
The Event Coordinator assists with planning and coordinating meetings, events, and company calendars along with maintenance of meeting files.
In addition to meeting coordination, the Event Coordinator monitors inventory and places orders for office supplies and processes mail.
Mission Critical
Responsibilities:
Coordinate registration, samples, allowances, Point-of-Sale, and payment of trade shows and industry events.
Maintain and update the work-with schedule for the sales team and manufacturers.
Receive, sort, and forward incoming mail.
Coordinate the pick-up and delivery of shipping services (FedEx, UPS, etc.
).
Assist in ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies.
Process and confirm Point-of-Sale orders.
Supplementary Tasks Process data and create reports on various projects.
Keep up to date on current trends, training, and information.
Participates in customer interactions to ensure cross training, customer satisfaction and management involvement regularly.
Serve with other departmental management to facilitate relationships among members of the various departments and locations in order to achieve the organization's goals and objectives.
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
Minimum five (5) years' experience in event coordination.
Previous experience in an administrative role preferred.
Experience with a food broker or distributor is a plus.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Experience working with a CRM system.
