We are currently seeking a full-time Scheduling Coordinator to join our growing team.
Ideal candidates should have the following qualities/skills:
Experience in a caregiving setting/willingness to complete HHA training Preferred experience in health care type scheduling/staffing or HR scheduling Management or Leadership experience of some type (Health care preferred) Possess critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently, switch directions quickly and be adaptable/flexible with multitasking Be goal orientated, work well under pressure and be able to understand and follow oral and written instructions Present a professional appearance and demeanor both in person and on the phone at all times Have basic computer knowledge and be able to learn a scheduling software program (AxisCare) Exhibit extraordinary customer service skills to staff and clients Perform proper follow-up of tasks and focus even with distractions Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) Duties include, but are not limited to:
Monthly scheduling for CarePartners at appropriate houses.
We have a 6 hour minimum for care, so most of our CarePartners are at our Elders' homes for 6-12 hour shifts and/or live-in shifts Address scheduling changes in a timely manner and communicate them to staff and families promptly Participate in interviews of new CarePartners and prepare employee files as directed Presentation of CarePartner orientation programs After hours on-call ($1/hr) Be comfortable taking a family referral over the phone Assure that all CarePartners are compliance with AHCA regulations for licensure, certifications, education and other documents Visit staff and Elders in the field at home occasionally ($1/mile for use of your own car) Assist other office staff with tasks as assigned This position can be a traditional FT 40 hour/week office job, with flexibility for start/finish times.
OR PART TIME HOURS in office (Ideal for retiree or parents with school aged children) plus on-call.
